Lately Social Networking is all the rage. By this point in time, just about everybody has heard of MySpace and FaceBook. But what many people don’t realize is that when they write a blog post, leave a comment, upload a picture, or participate in a group, they are creating free content for that social networking site … and NOT getting compensated for it.
Fortunately, in that past year or so, more and more social networks are popping up that have a revenue sharing business model. Basically, they pay the users a portion of the income they generate through advertising. It’s usually based on how much you participate, how much content you generate, and even how many additional people you refer to the site. If you like to use social network sites, it can actually be a relatively easy way to make some extra money

This is just the tip of the iceberg. I predict that over the next couple of months, more and more of these sights will find ways for their members to earn extra income by sharing in the profits.
